Pathway to CFP® Certification:
Building Theory, Enriching Practice

Registration is now open for the 2013 CFP Board Registered Program Conference!

We understand that travel budgets remain tight at many institutions, and we are pleased to offer registration at $199. Registration for students is $99. Additionally, there is a special discounted $199 hotel room rate available to attendees. Information about securing the discounted hotel rate is available through the registration form.

CFP Board's annual conference brings together faculty and program directors from institutions around the country that provide professional financial planning education and assist individuals in pursuing CFP® certification. It provides an opportunity to connect with CFP Board and faculty and program directors from financial planning education programs around the country, to share best practices for financial planning education, and to learn about CFP Board's commitment to education partnerships.

This year's theme, Pathway to CFP® Certification: Building Theory, Enriching Practice, will be a platform for furthering our discipline relative to specific subject matter areas, engaging students both within the classroom and in online learning platforms, as well as facilitating certificate and degree-seeking students' journeys toward CFP® certification.

Graduate Research Posters

The 2013 CFP Board Registered Program Conference will feature a research poster session for graduate students (both master’s and doctoral) to share their unpublished research and studies exploring one or more areas related to the personal financial planning profession.

CFP Board is accepting proposals for presenter proposals through June 15, 2013.
