Prometric Boost is available in the app store on iOS and Android devices and on the web on Mac, PC and Chromebook computers.
After claiming your complimentary access to CFP® Exam Prep, you will receive an email from Prometric Boost with a link to start studying.
- Click the link to open CFP® Exam Prep on your browser or download the Prometric Boost mobile app.
- Enter the email address on your CFP Board account.
- Enter the four-digit access code you will receive in a second email security notification.
You will only go through this process the first time you log into CFP® Exam Prep.
The first time you launch CFP® Exam Prep on your phone or computer, click the Play button and take the “Getting Started” quiz to learn more.
You can only access the “Getting Started” quiz your first time using CFP® Exam Prep.
CFP® Exam Prep offers one year of access. You can choose to renew the subscription after access expires.
No. You may spend as long as you like on each quiz and there is no limit to retakes.
No. Access is tied to the email address on your CFP Board account.
CFP® Exam Prep contains multiple short quizzes for each domain on the CFP® Exam. You can choose any topic to study at any time and there are no limits on quiz retakes. When taking quizzes, you will also receive option-specific feedback indicating why that option is correct or incorrect. At the end of each quiz, you will receive a score, but not a full score report.
CFP® Exam Prep is the only official CFP® exam prep platform. CFP® Exam Prep offers gamified quizzes with micro-learning backed by science, as well as AI-based personalized recommendations.
CFP® Exam Prep provides a content library of CFP® exam practice questions organized by Principal Knowledge Domains, using AI and micro-learning for feedback and personalized quizzes. CFP Board Practice Exams are formatted and timed like a mock exam with 170 questions and 6 hours of testing time.
CFP® Exam Prep provides a bank of practice questions presented in short quizzes while Practice Exams simulate real exam conditions. Use CFP® Exam Prep for targeted study by domain and Practice Exams for overall assessment.
