Message from CFP Board Chair and CEO: We All Must Condemn Violence Toward Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders

CFP Board is alarmed and anguished at the escalation in violent and degrading behaviors directed toward Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders (AAPI).

We stand united with authorities and organizations in denouncing this racism and hatred, and we encourage everyone in the financial planning profession to actively support our AAPI colleagues and their communities.

CFP Board founded the Center for Financial Planning with the unique mission of creating a more diverse and sustainable financial planning profession, so that every American has access to competent and ethical financial planning advice. CFP Board will continue to support the development of even more diverse, equitable and inclusive workplaces where CFP® professionals and all professionals — regardless of race, heritage, nationality, disability, sexual orientation and gender identity and expression — feel welcomed, supported and valued.
