A Look at Leading Women Advisors
Despite efforts to increase diversity, the financial advice profession remains predominantly male, with women making up only 23.8% of CFP® professionals, according to CFP Board. However, many of the pioneering advisors who helped shape financial planning into a profession in the 1970s and 1980s were women. Financial Advisor highlights nine female advisors from the second generation of the field, including Judith Lee, mother of the 100,000th CFP® professional, Simone Lee Alston.
